This is my all time favourite movie. I don't know how many times I've seen it, but the DVD is quite worn. There is something simple and soothing about the atmosphere, that keeps me going back again, and again, and again, and.......
I usually keeps it running when I'm sewing, so some days it can run for hours. I have even designed a quilt, inspired by the quilt in the movie, haven't gotten around to swing it yet though...
I have yet to meet anyone who enjoys that movie as much as I do. Luckily, my husband doesn't mind when the movie is on hours on end, he even sits down with me, without any remarks and watches it.
The movie gets me up, when I'm down and calms me when I'm restless. There are no awkward momens to make you want to skip to the next scene, or overly funny episodes; like pies flying through the air. It's calm, light, sincere, funny, witty and the music is refreshing, makes me wanne buy coffe and go for a walk.
